An E-Access Service is an OVC-based service with at least one UNI OVC End Point and one ENNI End Point. Currently only point-to-point E-Access Services are defined - namely Access EPL and Access EVPL - which contain exactly one UNI and exactly one ENNI.

Access EPL Service

A Service Provider can use the Access EPL service from an Access Provider to deliver the port-based Ethernet services:  Ethernet Private Line (EPL) and Ethernet Private LAN (EP-LAN). The following diagram shows two Access EPL services being used to facilitate a multi-CEN EP-LAN service.

Access EVPL Service

A Service Provider can use the Access EVPL service from an Access Provider to deliver the C-VLAN-mapped Ethernet services: Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL) and Ethernet Virtual Private LAN (EVP-LAN). The following diagram shows two multi-CEN EVPL services built from one Access-EPL and two Access-EVPL services.
