LSO Presto belongs to the LSO API familyfamily of LSO Interface Reference Points (IRP) as defined in MEF 55. It defines the network management reference point needed to manage the network infrastructure, including network view management functions.

LSO Presto resides both within the Service Provider domain and within the Partner Domain, and is where North-South APIs reside.

A range of open APIs are being defined by the MEF for use at LSO Presto. The first of these APIs is the LSO Presto Network Resource Provisioning (NRP) API*.
