LSO Cantata (CUS:BUS) belongs to the family of LSO Interface Reference Points (IRP) as defined in MEF 55. It defines the management reference point that provides a customer (including enterprise customers) with capabilities via the Service Portal to support operational interactions (e.g., ordering, billing, trouble management, etc.) for a portion of the service provider service capabilities related to the customer’s services. In other words, LSO Cantata is a management reference point that supports non-control related management interactions between the Service Provider's Business Applications and the Customer.

LSO Cantata is relevant within the Service Provider domain and the Customer domain.




 Interactions

  • Customer browses the Product Catalog for Product Offerings that are available for selection by the Customer.

  • Based on Product Offerings the Customer develops, places, tracks and changes Product Orders.

  • Customer requests modification of Product Instances.

  • Customer provides and views customer acceptance testing information.

  • Customer views Product Instance performance and fault information. 

  • Customer receives information about the scheduled maintenance that may impact their Product Instances. 

  • Customer places and tracks trouble reports. 

  • Customer queries and views usage and billing information.
