The MEF develops standards in the form of specifications which, once approved by the MEF membership, are published to the public domain for the benefit of the whole industry. There are currently over 50 MEF specifications covering a range of topics such as Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO), Carrier Ethernet service architecture, definitions, attributes, and OAM.
