Automating and Securing the Global Ecosystem

Conduct secured business, expand partnerships, and collaborate

Join us for our Q4 Members Meeting on 5-6 October in Dallas!

The Q4 meeting will have a different format than our typical member meetings. We will not be hosting an opening plenary due to our GNE event earlier in the week. The meeting will focus on committee meetings over two days, 5-6 October to bring the MEF community together to network with industry peers and progress valuable MEF works in the areas of services, APIs and certifications!

Committee Activities Preview

Commercial and Business Committee (CBC)

The Commercial and Business Committee will be holding its third MEF Showcase milestone day with a wide range of LSO API and LSO Blockchain use cases reviewed and discussed. The attendance in the second milestone day in the recent Rome meeting was very high and demonstrated how valuable this new collaborative framework is for a wide range of our members.

Digital Services Committee (DSC)

The longest serving committee in MEF that defined the now ubiquitous Carrier Ethernet services, the Digital Services Committee will be running working sessions to advance MEF work to define a wide range of standardized services that can be used to maximize interoperability, consistent terminology in the industry and enable business and operational automation (LSO).

LSO Committee (LSOC)

The LSO Committee sessions are where you'll want to be to help shape LSO automation as we move toward the Fergie release and beyond, including active work on Product APIs and Schemas, Service Ordering, and Service APIs and Schemas. These sessions are especially valuable if your company has already begun automating their business processes, as you can help direct the work to include what has already been done.

Test and Certification (TCC)

A focal point for the TCC is development of the new SASE certification program, with individual SD-WAN, SSE and ZT components. Participants will get all of the details including timelines for a beta program and general availability. A new edition of the LSO API certification is also underway. The TCC will also explore next steps in the highly successful MEF Onboarding & Interop Testing (OIT) Service and will be considering go-forward plans for MEF Professional Certifications.
