List 1: Acronyms Whose Expansion and Meaning Should Be Known
All MEF-CECP Candidates are expected to know both the meaning and the expansion (i.e. what the letters stand for) of the following acronyms. They can appear on the MEF-CECP exam without expansion although they may be expanded in some cases:

All MEF-CECP are expected to know what these acronyms mean/refer to as shown in the table, but not necessarily the expansion (i.e. what the letters stand for). They can appear on the MEF-CECP exam without expansion although they may be expanded in some cases.

List 3: Acronyms That Will Always Be Expanded
MEF-CECP Candidates are not expected to recognize acronyms that are not in Lists 1 and 2. This list identifies some commonly used terms that fall into this category. Acronyms that are not in Lists 1 and 2 will not appear in the MEF-CECP exam without expansion:
