From the Subscriber 's point of view, the Service Provider operates a single Carrier Ethernet Network (CEN) that connects all of the subscriber's UNIs.
The Subscriber buys Carrier Ethernet services (E-Line, E-LAN, or E-Tree) and contracts with the Service Provider regarding the attributes of the service.
When the Service Provider does not have the ability to provide connectivity to all UNIs of the subscriber, it should contract service from another Carrier Ethernet Network operator. This is detailed in the MEF 26.x Service Model.
